How do I play Pick 3?
To play Pick 3, you need to select three numbers from 0 to 9 (or two if you play a Pair), choose a play type and decide how much to spend per play. Go to the How to Play page for a full guide, and to find out more about all of the play types.
What’s the best play type?
There are benefits to each type of play – Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Super Straight or Pair. A Straight offers the biggest prize, but the odds are much better for a Box. A Straight/Box combines the two, while a Super Straight gives you even more chances to win a Straight prize but you have to pay more to play it. A Pair play gives you better odds than any other type, but the payout is lower.
How much does it cost to play?
You can decide whether to pay $0.50 or $1 per play.
What prizes can I win?
Each play type has its own fixed prize. You can win $500 if you play a Straight for $1 and match the numbers exactly. Go to the Prize Chart to see all the available payouts.
What is the Wild Ball?
The Wild Ball is an extra number that is selected in every draw. If you add the Wild Ball option to your ticket, you can use this extra number to replace any of the three main winning numbers. This gives you more opportunities to make winning combinations. See the Wild Ball page for more information.
